MZMF - Remembering  Our Children (ROC) Fund

  • Each year during the Christmas Holiday Season, the MZMF remembers children of Sworn VT Law Enforcement Officers who have fallen.
  • In 2019, trustees of the Albert Rae and Mary Doyle Foundation pledged $10,000 to the MZMF Children's Fund (later renamed the ROC Fund).
  • The MZMF matches $500 with $500 from the ROC Fund and gives each child (<18 yoa), $1,000.
  • We remember the children of:
    • Deputy Sergeant Jason Allen, Rutland County Sheriff’s Department;
    • Trooper Kyle Young, Vermont State Police; and
    • Corporal Dan Marcellus, Vermont State Police
      • (The wife of Cpl. Marcellus donates their son’s gift to children in need in the St. Albans area in memory of her husband).
